Aside from reaching the #22 ATP ranking, and scoring wins against some of the greatest players of all time, he made a comeback in 1999 becoming, at 35 years of age, the oldest player to reach top 100 (ATP ranked #88) in the world since Jimmy Connors did it in 1991 and retired at 38 years old in 2002, a rare feat in that era. 

Playing at the biggest tennis arenas against the world best players during his 19 year pro tour career gave Ronald an immense resource of experiences that he is putting to good use when coaching players and can show you simple ways to achieve short, medium, and long term goals.  Preparation is key to play your best game during tournaments. Ronald helps with positive self-talk, personal blocks, and creates a new mental approach for every player. Perseverence, dedication, hard work and discipline are the key elements to achieve success. 

Recently Ronald was on tour coaching at Merida WTA 250, Tampico WTA 125,  Charleston WTA 125, Midland WTA !25, Limoges WTA 125, Angers WTA 125, and at the 1st Grand Chelem of the year the Australian Open 2025. On the ITF circuit Ronald was on tour coaching at the Las Vegas J100, Indian Wells J300, and San Diego J200.
